Greater Huntsville Umpires Association

We are an Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) sanctioned baseball umpires group. We work primarily in Madison county covering all the High Schools and most of the Middle Schools. We have a couple of schools in other counties but those are limited. During the baseball season, our meetings are held on Sunday nights. We provide training to all members with special classes for new officials. We start out our new officials working middle school baseball with an experienced official and you will progress up the levels at your own speed. New experienced officials will be evaluated and started at an appropriate level of baseball. See our website for answers to frequently asked questions. Due to the extreme shortage of officials, we are always looking for new officials with or without experience.
